Westside Ballet awards more than $250,000 in scholarships annually. We believe that talent, dedication, and passion—not financial circumstances—should determine a student’s opportunity to study ballet. Through merit- and need-based scholarships, the Foundation helps young dancers access exceptional training, performance opportunities, and artistic mentorship.
Scholarship support allows students to participate in Westside Ballet’s year-round programs, develop their technical and artistic abilities, and pursue their fullest potential in a nurturing and challenging environment.

Scholarships are offered based on artistic merit, financial need, or a combination of both, helping make high-quality ballet education accessible to talented dancers from a wide range of backgrounds.
Throughout the year, faculty may recommend students for scholarship consideration based on their progress, dedication, and potential.

Dance to Dreams
Our free, week-long summer workshop introduces children to the joy and discipline of classical ballet and students who demonstrate exceptional enthusiasm, commitment, and potential may be invited to continue their training at Westside Ballet through scholarship opportunities.
Weekly Outreach Classes
Our free weekly outreach classes provide students with consistent, high-quality ballet instruction throughout the year, allowing them to build technique, confidence, and a lasting connection to dance. As students progress, scholarship opportunities may be offered to support continued training at Westside Ballet.
Financial Aid
Westside Ballet is committed to ensuring that financial circumstances never prevent talented students from pursuing exceptional ballet training. Need-based financial aid helps current students continue their education, empowering them to reach their fullest artistic potential regardless of economic circumstances.
