Class Series Policy

Class Series Expiration

  • Regular Rate: Class purchases expire after 3 months.
  • College Rate: Class purchases expire after 3 months.
  • Professional Rate: Class purchases expire after 6 months.

College & Professional Accounts

  • College and Professional accounts must be renewed every 6 months.
  • Professional Rate is available to professional dancers, dance teachers, and union performers.
  • College Rate is available to currently enrolled college students.

Verification Requirements

College and Professional rates require verification of current student or professional status. Accepted forms of verification include:

College Students
  • Current college student ID
Professional Dancers/Performers
  • Current union card (SAG-AFTRA, Equity, SDC)
  • Current company contract with dancer’s name and date
  • Dancer’s webpage URL from their company website
  • Current faculty listing for dance instructors
  • Freelance performers, dancers, and dance teachers: proof of employment within the past 6 months

Payment & Refund Policy

  • All classes must be paid for in advance.
  • No extensions or refunds are available for purchased classes, except in cases of illness or injury with a doctor’s note.
  • Prices are subject to change without notice.
  • A $25 handling fee will be charged for returned checks.
  • Visa, MasterCard, and American Express are accepted.

Class Etiquette

To help create a respectful, focused, and enjoyable class environment, all adult students are expected to observe the following studio etiquette.

Before Class

  • Arrive no earlier than 15 minutes before class.
  • Arrive no later than 10 minutes after class begins. If you are late, enter quietly and join class as quickly as possible.
  • Be courteous when choosing your place at the barre and allow adequate space for others.
  • Cell phones must remain silenced and stored in your dance bag.
  • Ballet slippers are required. Socks or bare feet are not permitted.
  • Please do not loiter in the lobby before or after class.

Center Work

  • Dance with a group appropriate to your experience level.
  • During across-the-floor combinations, more advanced dancers should go first to allow others to observe.
  • Wait in line for your turn. Do not join a group after it has started.
  • When finished, move promptly to the front or sides of the studio to clear the floor.

After Class

  • Gather your belongings and exit the studio promptly so the next class can begin on time.
